In data from Russia, China, India, Turkey, and 50+ other countries , we search for trades involving your brand’s goods, map supply chains – and their risks related to sanctions, ESG, or exposure to high-risk countries. The tool can be used to track any brand, commodity, or business partner. The most serious risks involve trade in dual-use goods, luxury goods, and around 3,000 other commodities restricted by EU sanctions regulation.

What does a customs record look like?
We have access to transcribed data on how goods crossed most borders outside the EU. We typically know the exporter, importer, and manufacturer, as well as the transaction details – price, date, and commodity.
This is an example of a transaction identified as high-risk. The goods of a Czech company were exported to Russia, with both the seller and the buyer listed on the U.S. sanctions list.
When analyzing transactions, we identify a number of risk types – trade with a sanctioned entity, import of goods in violation of EU sanctions regulations. We also identify transactions routed through third countries (notably Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Kazakhstan).
International trade monitoring service
We provide each client with a tailored solution, with prices ranging from tens to hundreds of thousands of CZK. The service usually includes an initial analysis of transactions since 2022, focusing on the client’s brand and products, as well as transactions of their companies and business partners. We assist clients in addressing identified risks and implement ongoing monitoring of newly emerging risks. Some clients also appreciate gaining insights into their business partners’ transactions.

What risks do we address?

Economic risks
Violation of regulations may result in the loss of a supplier or customer

Reputational risks
Trade with high-risk destinations is increasingly drawing media attention, especially those working with similar customs data.

Legal risks
Violating sanctions can lead to fines, export or operational restrictions, and, in more serious cases, even criminal liability. The Financial Analytical Office recommends introducing a monitoring mechanism for sanction circumvention in case of exports outside the EU — and that is exactly the kind of mechanism we have designed.
It is impossible to cover all risks 100% — no such solution exists. From a compliance perspective, however, it is essential to demonstrate reasonable effort, which we can implement and properly document on your behalf. Thanks to our cooperation with the Financial Analytical Office, the Licensing Authority of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Customs Administration, we understand and meet their required standards.
